Helping students gain insight

At Norbech, we believe that helping students and apprentices get hands-on experience helps them in their study and in their work life after school.

Third semester project at Norbech

In the spring, we had the pleasure of working with Simon, Thomas, and Daniel, three students from University College North Jutland doing their third semester project on the Production Technology course with elective in Construction.

They did their project on a conveyor, an entirely overlooked product today. The project was to make it modular to reduce costs relating to production and storage. At the same time, it had to be easy to clean due to the strict requirements in the food industry.

No need to say that they made a great semester project.

“It was great working with Norbech on the project. We received all the help we needed, had files sent to us, and we could always contact Christian, the head of engineering, if we needed something,” agrees Simon, Thomas, and Daniel.

“We got a different insight into the business world than others in our year. Christian expected us to make something that could be used in real life, which the school did not. It was a great experience,” concludes the three students.

Afterwards, we have been lucky to have Thomas as an intern and make his graduation project here.

We wish Simon, Daniel, and Thomas the best of luck with their graduation projects.
