These are busy times at Uni-Food Technic. The number of employees only goes one way, and so does growth: upwards. This, combined with a new owner in 2019, has contributed to the company starting a rebranding process where the name change is part of the strategy.

Focus on identity

When our CEO and owner, Kurt Bech Christensen, took over Uni-Food Technic in 2019, he saw huge potential in the innovative machines that the company produces and their future in a growing market. This resulted in a growth plan that focuses on innovation and sustainability, and which draws on all the company's competencies. With the growth plans came the need to focus on identity.

"We have started a new chapter with Norbech. In addition to the fact that there have been changes in the ownership group, our ambitions needed an expression that our customers could relate to, and which was based on who we are. We are focusing on our identity, and the name change is a symbol of that", says Kurt Bech Christensen.

Growth requires action

The name change to Norbech is only one of the points in the new chapter. The company is a growing organisation, and this is reflected in the upcoming appointment of a CCO, a strengthening of the positioning in the market and a focus on communication.

"In order for us to grow, the will to change must also be present, and it is at Norbech. With the name change, we are signaling development and growth, both to the outside world and to our employees," says Kurt Bech Christensen.
